summer time come and gone, my oh my

wednesday is the first day of school and our first game is friday. i must say it was a grand although unusually hot summer. we have dived head first into band season with a very challenging program. it may be a rough going for a while but we will persevere in the long run. all is not gloom and doom however. i still have labor day at the lake...

off to camp

i can't believe how fast this summer has gone. we leave for band camp tomorrow after two weeks of intensive preparation. i am however looking forward to getting into the meat of our 2005 program beyond the spectrum and seeing this years group grow into their own.
