oops

almost for got that i have this thing. the trip to ohio was great. highlights included: the fam, seeing the pirates actually win a game, spending a week with bob and hanging with all the central ohio band folks, the usual festivities at the lake and applying for a job. what? yes. an informant alerted me of a job open at a sweet school in suburban austin. the drag was that i was without my resume and list of references. with a little help from the informant i was able to put together a good enough package to get an interview. this resulted in me having to fly back to texas two days early (which is a story for another time). i did not get the job but it was great to interview at a program of that caliber. they ended up hiring someone with woodwind experience. another edition of the G-Band is starting up this week with percussion and guard. the rest of the hooligans show up next week.
